TITLE: Public Relations Liaison.

DUTIES: Generate publicity for the marketer and author via internet, television, radio, and print media. Facilitate expert commentary in business publications and features. Secure opportunities for guest blogging on marketing topics. Place new products, services and information in the marketplace. Expand our public relations offering to clients. The voice is innovative, direct and practical — a thought leader like Seth Godin.
REQUIREMENTS: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Start-to-finish work ethic. Examples of previous success. Described by peers as sharp, creative, energetic, friendly, and persuasive. Access to a laptop or tablet. Reliable transportation. If you’re a student, then a communications major with a focus in public relations is preferred.
HOURS: 10-14 hours weekly to start, some flexibility. Mix of telecommuting, office hours and meetings. Large projects could demand additional effort.
COMPENSATION: Unpaid internship at outset. Commissions paid for placements. For example, where a new customer mentions s/he heard about us in publicity you generated, then you receive a percentage of the revenue generated. Metrics to be finalized with the selected candidate. Will progress into regular subcontracting or an employment offer.

DUTIES: Engage in ongoing linkbuilding exercises for the marketer and author via banner advertising (creation and placement), guest blogging (placement of articles written by other ESTMKTG professionals or self-authored), participation in online forums, creation of profiles on social media websites, content sharing on social media websites, creation of profiles for business directories, publication of press releases, and promotion of webinars and public appearances. In addition to the above, the linkbuilding professional will also look at ways to enhance our offering of same to clientele.
